You, Yes You, Should Run For Office
Updated: Sep 28, 2019
Our right to vote guarantees us a say and a voice in almost every election that has an impact on us. But with so much to be thankful for with our right to vote, we often overlook the opportunities that lie in the balance of voting, that is, the opportunity to receive votes.
The phrase "political candidate" can conjure up images of celebrity or national attention. Sometimes this is accurate, but it not necessarily need be. As a matter of fact there are many offices that get far less attention. Run for an office that gets lots of attention, or run for an office that doesn't. Either way, you'll get an education that's unattainable to most and that "voter voice" you so patriotically cherish will be far more informed.
You, yes you, should run for office.
